The Lore

There is that moment in Ireland

When you truly arrive

When you see Ireland, smell Ireland, feel Ireland all around you.

Maybe it happens when you look out the plane window and see an endless patchwork of green, as though you are landing inside a postcard.

Or when you take a nap straight from the plane and wake to a misty field outside a stucco window, perfectly framing a few bleating sheep.

Maybe you tuck into a pub and find it alive with jigs and reels. Sinking into a snug you look around: jovial conversation, bright energy and smiling eyes are at every table and the song of the Irish brogue surrounds you.

And you feel it: I’m here.

A winding Irish road opening to the sea
The bend in the road, somewhere on the western edge.

It happens when you pass through a colorful village.

When the road winds, and bends, and winds again — and when just around one of those bends, the stone walls open to a sea of hills and endless ocean.

Or maybe you feel it in a way you cannot quite touch, hold or name. A feeling just out of reach.

Everything envelops you, yet somehow it all feels familiar — in a way you cannot fully claim or explain.

It’s in the mist.

It’s in the light.

It’s in the connection.

It’s deep in your heart.

It’s as though, whether you are Irish or not, somehow you're home.
